Memorial Services for Tari Vinson
Memorial services for Tari Renee Vinson will be on Saturday, December 2nd at 4pm at the Willow Oak Park Hall located at
17535 County Road 97 in Woodland CA

Feb. 3, 1982 - Oct. 26, 2017 Woodland Tari Renee Vinson received her angel wings on the morning of Oct. 26, after her courageous battle with breast cancer. Tari's final days were spent surrounded by her loving family. Born on Feb. 3, 1982 in Mission Hills, she spent her early years growing up in So. CA and traveled to Europe for three months in 2004 before moving North to attend UC Davis. After meeting her future husband, Tari and Scott married in 2007 lived their life in Woodland, along with their three Labrador Retrievers. Tari's motto was Carpe Diem and she did just that. Tari and her business partner, Bob Frommelt, opened Cache Creek Realty in 2014 in Woodland. In January, Tari received an award for Broker of the Year and at the same time became the President of Yolo Board of Realtors which was a great accomplishment. Tari was also active in Meals on Wheels, led her own Boot Camp; loved to camp with her husband or enjoyed costal weekend excursions which would include mud baths. She also attended Country Concerts with friends and family. During Tari's struggle to get herself healthy, she never gave up hope and carried herself with dignity, courage and grace. Up until late August, most people did not know of Tari's medical condition until it became apparent she needed to focus all her efforts on her health. In her 35 years, Tari embraced life and all that it threw at her. She was strong, warm and a beautiful soul with a warm smile and even bigger heart. Tari has left a large footprint in the hearts and minds of all who knew her. She will forever be missed yet her memory will forever live in our hearts. Tari is survived by her loving husband of 10 years, Dr. Scott Vinson of Woodland; parents, Chris Christman of Lake Hughes, Susan Harris of Simi Valley; mother-in-law, Cheryle Vinson, of Woodland; brother, Steve Christman of Thousand Oaks; sister-in-law, Kristy Vinson and her two children, Alysa and Grant Caldwell of Roseville; half-brother, Jonathan Christman of Brooklyn, NY and paternal grandmother, Alberta Kurgan of Canyon Country. There will be a Celebration of Life for Tari, although details will be forthcoming.
