Realtor® of the year - Tari Vinson

In honor and in memory this year's award goes to an individual who is well respected in our community Tari Vinson. Tari was a positive role model, leader, and a mentor to many. Whenever the going got tough, she always stepped it up and never backed down or looked back. Tari was very diverse in her clientele, and had a genuine connection with the Senior community and has volunteered and supported many non-profit organizations.

Affiliate of the year - Jenni Jacobs Garcia

Our Affiliate of the Year is definitely a product of Yolo County. Beginning with preschool all schooling was here including graduating from a local high school. Raised in the family business, Jenni's business sense was evident from an early age and not one to be wasted. There was always work to be done and the family made certain there was a job for this capable offspring. At the age of twelve the fruit stand was her domain, talking to customers and ringing up sales. Always a people person, this was truly her element. After high school Jenni had spread her wings, graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Spanish for the Professions, and taking a semester to study in Sevilla. When it was time for a big city adventure, she dreamed BIG. Washington D.C. was home for 7 years. Finally, Yolo County call her home. Never dreaming she would EVER live in the town where she grew up, she hadn't been home long before she was volunteering. First for the ROAR reading program where she read with first graders in their class rooms, soon she was active in the Chamber of Commerce and serving as a board member for the Winters Healthcare Foundation. Most recently, she chaired the Earthquake Festival and the First Annual Dinner on the Bridge. Never one to just "dip her toe in the water", this Affiliate jumps in with both feet and approaches each challenge with diligence and passion. Whether it be learning her new profession or planning an Affiliate event, or volunteering with YPN she is "all in".
