The Yolo County Association of REALTORS® are a non-profit professional trade association representing the needs of the real estate professionals in Yolo County. The Yolo County Association of REALTORS® (Yolo AR) was formed in 1922 as one of the first professional associations in our area.
The purpose of the Yolo County Association of REALTORS® is to provide professionalism, knowledge and resources to better develop, support, protect, and guide our membership through innovative programs. We are locally focused on membership services and education. We promote and provide advocacy for ethical business practices as well as individual property rights.
Yolo AR is proud to continue to sponsor local professional development programs, educational outreach, chartable efforts as well as public relations and marketing programs to enrich and make our local REALTORS® a benefit to the community and property owners. Along with continuing education programs to keep our members on the cutting-edge of the real estate market and trends we work with all the local communities in our County to represent real estate related matters. Our focus is on REALTORS® and their contribution to their communities and building better neighborhoods, towns and cities.
Yolo A.R. Book Club: The Yolo County Association of REALTORS® formed a professional development book club. The Book Club has been formed to create a fun, growth opportunity for real estate professionals to engage in reading books that impact lives and business practices.
The goal of the group is to have friends empowering friends to seek out new information, new methods and concepts that will uplift your business.
Some of the books that have been read at our Book Club luncheons ave been Stephen Covey's Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Mark Sanborn's The Fred Factor, Florence Littauer's Personality Plus and Darren Hardy The Compound Effect. The Yolo AR Book Club welcomes any interested members by simply letting the office know that you are interested in joining and you will be added in. The only cost is the cost of the books.
