Yolo County Association of REALTORS® — Masters Club
The Yolo Masters Club recognizes the top REALTORS® who have met specific production criteria during the prior calendar year. The club supports programs and services that enhance member competency, professionalism, and productivity, and honors members who achieve a high level of real estate excellence.
Masters Club Resources
Mission & Goals
The Masters Club’s purpose is to support the Association by providing programs and services that enhance members’ professional competency and recognize outstanding real estate achievement.
A goal of the Club is for 10-20% of Yolo AR REALTORS® to belong to the Masters Club; membership figures are reviewed each June.
The Fine Print
Membership Lapses & Recognition
- Lapses ≥3 years mean losing previous Masters Club status and restarting as a New Member.
- Members who meet qualifying criteria and pay dues are recognized at the annual awards meeting and in local media.
Application Requirements
Applications must include:
- Completed Masters Club application form
- Masters Club MLS report
- Annual dues and fees for plaques or year plates
- Documentation for non-MLS transactions, if used
- MLS credit details (100% or 50% per transaction)
- Completed non-MLS verification forms where applicable
- Late applications accepted through January with an extra $50 fee
Application Deadline:
Applications are accepted beginning November 15th of each year and must be received by the close of business on January 31st.
Reciprocal Membership with SAR
Members who qualify for Yolo AR’s Masters Club may join the Sacramento AR Masters Club as a Reciprocal Member by paying both Yolo AR and SAR dues; Yolo AR forwards the verification and dues to the appropriate association once eligibility is confirmed.
Annual Dues & Fees
- Annual dues are set by the Board of Directors (currently $75).
- Members must pay annual dues plus any optional costs for plaques or year plates.
- Life Members must also pay current dues to advertise Master's Club status or serve on the committee.
Budget & Finance
Dues collected fund club-related functions such as correspondence, administrative support, and office costs. Excess funds may be considered for charitable contributions with oversight by the Masters Club Committee and final review by the Board of Directors.
Masters Club Committee
- The Board appoints a Chairperson selected from the previous year’s committee; the Chair serves a two-year term.
- Interested members must be third-year Master's Club members to serve on the committee.
Meeting Schedule
- At least one meeting per year is held.
- The awards program usually pairs with the Yolo AR officer installation and awards event unless otherwise determined.
Rule Changes & Exceptions
- Rule changes can be recommended by the Masters Club Committee and approved by the Board of Directors.
- Exception requests must be submitted in writing to the association for committee and Board approval.
