Membership means. . . When you join Yolo County Association of REALTORS® (Yolo AR), you become a member of the California Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. Each organization is committed to bringing you the tools and information you need to succeed. This include a wide array of benefits, educational opportunities, and resources to assist each REALTOR® in their day to day work. As a REALTOR®, you adhere to the NAR Code of Ethics. Not only does the Code guide your professional behavior, it raises your level of competency, integrity and marketability.
The function of the Yolo County Association of REALTORS® is to provide multi-faceted service to our professional and business membership. The Association service is focused to uphold high professional standards in a clear cut and lawful manor. Our mission statement speaks to this. At the very heart of our professional existence is our Code of Ethics. The real estate industry and the state regulators think so highly of these that they are included as Educational Requirements for license acquirement and renewal every 4 years. REALTORS® mandate themselves to abide by this Code and The Yolo County Association of REALTORS® has a system in place to police themselves. It is also possible for the general public to seek remedy against a REALTOR® through our Association.
